Welcome to your culinary journey. Upon arrival, we will transfer you to your hotel in the city's vibrant Northend district. This evening, we begin with an introduction to Japan's most famous beverage at an exclusive sake bar. You will sample a flight of premium sakes, from crisp and dry to rich and sweet, learning about their origins and craft.
Tonight is the pinnacle of our tour: an unforgettable dining experience at the renowned Northend Leoat. You will be treated to a multi-course "omakase" (chef's choice) menu, where each dish is a work of art. The chef will use the finest seasonal ingredients to showcase the elegance, precision, and profound flavors of authentic, high-end Japanese cuisine.
Today we explore the culture behind the cuisine. We will spend the morning in a beautiful and tranquil Japanese garden, admiring the harmony of nature and design. Afterwards, you will participate in a traditional tea ceremony, learning the graceful art of preparing and serving matcha. It is a peaceful experience that highlights the Japanese principles of respect, purity, and tranquility.
For your final day, we take an early morning trip to the central fish market to see the incredible variety of fresh seafood that inspires the city's chefs. Afterwards, we will enjoy a delicious farewell lunch at a top-rated sushi restaurant. Omakase is a Japanese phrase that means “I’ll leave it up to you.” At Northend Leoat, this means you are entrusting our head chef to create a unique, multi-course tasting menu for you. The dishes are based on the absolute best and freshest seasonal ingredients available on that day, offering a spontaneous and exclusive culinary journey.
To maintain the elegant atmosphere of our dining room, we adhere to a ‘smart casual’ dress code. We kindly ask that our guests refrain from wearing sportswear, shorts, or overly casual t-shirts and sandals. A collared shirt for gentlemen and similar attire for ladies is recommended to ensure a refined and enjoyable experience for all of our guests.
Due to our intimate seating arrangement and the detailed preparation required for our omakase menu, we highly recommend making reservations at least one to two weeks in advance. For weekend bookings or special occasions, we suggest booking even earlier to secure your preferred date. Reservations can be made easily through our website or by telephone with our staff.
